Role Overview: As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security Analyst at Ascension, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our cloud environments. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing the security posture of our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to protect sensitive healthcare data and ensure compliance with industry standards. What You'll Do: - You will monitor Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments for security threats and vulnerabilities. - You will analyze security incidents and coordinate response efforts to mitigate risks. - You will implement and maintain security controls and policies within OCI. - You will collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices. - You will conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance. - You will develop and deliver security awareness training to relevant stakeholders. - You will stay updated on the latest cloud security trends and Oracle OCI features. - You will document security procedures and incident reports accurately. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years experience in cloud security, specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong knowledge of OCI security services, including IAM, network security, and encryption. - Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response processes. - Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST, or ISO 27001. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams. Bonus Points If You Have: - Certifications such as OCI Security Professional, CISSP, or CISM. - Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare data security. - Knowledge of automation tools and scripting for security tasks. - Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
