Role Overview: As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security Analyst at Ascension, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our cloud environments. You will ensure the security and compliance of our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, protecting sensitive healthcare data and supporting the organization's digital transformation initiatives. What You'll Do: - You will monitor and analyze security events within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to detect and respond to threats. - You will implement and maintain security controls and policies aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - You will conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts to mitigate risks. - You will collaborate with IT and security teams to design secure cloud architectures and deployment strategies. - You will manage identity and access controls to ensure appropriate permissions and prevent unauthorized access. - You will participate in incident response activities and forensic investigations related to cloud security incidents. - You will develop and deliver security awareness training and documentation for cloud users. - You will stay current with emerging cloud security trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve Ascension's security posture. What You Bring: - You have 3+ years of experience in cloud security, specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - You possess strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, NIST), and risk management. - You are proficient in security monitoring tools, vulnerability scanning, and incident response processes. - You have experience with identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments. - You demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Certifications like OCI Security Professional, CISSP, or CISM. - Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell). - Background in healthcare IT security or compliance.
