Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process._ • *Responsibilities** • *Strategic Leadership & Program Oversight** + Provide leadership and vision for the TO | AST Cancer Fund, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs. + Direct the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and strategic plans that guide the fund’s philanthropic operations and distribution of patient assistance. + Oversee collaboration with Tennessee Oncology and Ascension Saint Thomas partners to ensure seamless identification of patients in need through financial advocates and oncology nurse navigators. • *Fundraising & Donor Engagement** + Collaborate with executive leadership to establish and monitor annual and long-term fundraising goals. + Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive fundraising initiatives, including major gifts, capital campaigns, planned giving, and other philanthropic priorities. + Implement marketing and engagement strategies that foster a culture of giving and increase the number of major donors, planned gifts, and estate commitments. + Cultivate and steward meaningful relationships with donors, community partners, and key stakeholders. • *Communications & Marketing** + Prepare and oversee the design, writing, and production of philanthropic communications, including brochures, newsletters, donor updates, stewardship materials, and annual reports. + Ensure messaging reflects the mission, impact, and strategic direction of the TO | AST Cancer Fund. • *Operational & Financial Management** + Develop and manage budgets, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and stewardship of allocated funding. + Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits related to fundraising operations and fund administration. + Monitor program effectiveness and create reporting structures that demonstrate the fund’s impact on patients and the community. • *Requirements** Education: + High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. • *Why Join Our Team** Ascension is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system with a culture and associate experience grounded in service, growth, care and connection.
