Payroll Manager This is a part-time, totally virtual position. We are seeking a part-time payroll manager with experience doing payroll with ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or a similar company. You do need to work during normal business hours. Responsibilities • Manage all aspects of payroll processing, including data entry, payroll calculations, and payment distribution. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll records and reports. • Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to payroll processing, taxes, and deductions. • Review and reconcile payroll reports, including payroll taxes, benefits, and deductions. • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data. • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters in a timely and professional manner. • Oversee the maintenance of employee payroll records and confidentiality of sensitive information. • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Prepare payroll-related reports for management as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in payroll processing Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
