About the Role: Title: R&D Director Location: Remote Responsibilities • Develop and implement a strategic R&D roadmap focused on tax efficiency, compliance, and risk management to achieve organizational objectives. • Lead a multidisciplinary team of tax specialists, data analysts, and researchers to drive innovation in tax processes and technologies. • Identify and evaluate opportunities for tax optimization through R&D activities, including credits, deductions, incentives, and compliance strategies. • Collaborate with finance, legal, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of tax R&D initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements. • Stay abreast of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to anticipate changes and proactively develop innovative solutions to optimize tax outcomes. • Manage the budget, resources, and timelines for R&D projects to deliver impactful results and drive continuous improvement in tax operations.. Qualifications • Advanced degree in tax, accounting, finance, or related field, with a strong background in R&D and tax optimization strategies. • Extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and research, with a track record of driving innovative tax solutions. • Deep understanding of tax laws, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and articulate actionable insights. • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, inspire teams, and drive collaboration. • Creative mindset, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance tax operations Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $190,000- $200,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
