Commercial Operations Manager Department: Sales Employment Type: Full Time Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote) Compensation: $98,000 - $138,000 / year Description ASC is looking for a data-driven and strategic Commercial Operations Manager to serve as a critical liaison between the operations team and key customers, ensuring seamless communication, efficient issue resolution, and alignment across departments. This role is designed to improve customer satisfaction and drive operational efficiency across the organization and with our distributors. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, has a can-do mindset, a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to excellence. How You Will Help Primary communication conduit between operations and customers regarding shipping dates, and supply issues. Aligning customer program expectations including lead times and service levels with operational capabilities, ensuring compliance, and working cross-functionality to address gaps. Partner with sales to increase selling time and streamline operational tasks. Track and report on the status of large, complex orders with high SKU counts. Support continuous improvement initiatives in communication and escalation processes. Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and resolutions. Impact & Value Improves customer satisfaction and retention through timely, clear communication. Provide structured feedback to operations based on customer expectations. Strengthens alignment between commercial and operations teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Channel, and IT to ensure alignment to strategic objectives. Track all program effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements. What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. 3+ Years Experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a similar role. Experience using data to solve problems and implement solutions with large National Distributors. Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and other relevant software applications and planning systems. Strong analytical skills with an understanding of financial metrics and analytic tools such as PowerBI and Snowflake. Customer-focused, can-do mindset with a passion for problem-solving and commitment to continuous improvement. Strong leadership abilities with experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain & Customer Service Experience navigating complex businesses, large product portfolios & high SKU count while exercising attention to detail. Strong Ability to drive inferences. Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented communication style. High sense of urgency and personal accountability. Ability to balance customer advocacy with company priorities. Willingness To Travel Up To 10%
