Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, supporting strategic planning, and providing insights to drive business decisions. This role requires strong expertise in financial concepts, data visualization, and business intelligence tools, with a focus on delivering accurate financial reports and forecasts. The successful applicant will utilize advanced Excel skills, financial software, and data analysis techniques to support corporate finance, budgeting, and cost accounting functions. Responsibilities • Conduct detailed financial analysis including cash flow analysis, profit & loss assessments, and budgeting processes. • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and forecasting activities. • Prepare comprehensive financial reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and other business intelligence platforms. • Collect and analyze large datasets utilizing SQL, VBA, Pivot tables, and other data management tools to identify trends and insights. • Support cost accounting, corporate accounting, and governmental accounting functions by ensuring accuracy in financial data. • Utilize ERP systems, Hyperion, and other financial software for data entry, reporting, and analysis. • Assist with business analysis projects by providing quantitative research and strategic recommendations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data visualization techniques and enhance decision-making processes. • Write clear and concise financial reports that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. • Support investment banking activities by analyzing financial statements and market data using Bloomberg or similar tools. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus. • Proven experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like Pivot tables, VBA macros, and complex formulas. • Familiarity with SQL, data collection techniques, and data visualization methods. • Knowledge of corporate finance, cost accounting, budgeting, and financial planning concepts. • Experience working with ERP systems, Hyperion, or other financial software solutions. • Ability to interpret complex financial data using quantitative research methods for strategic decision-making. • Excellent analytical skills combined with strong communication abilities to prepare detailed reports for diverse audiences. • Knowledge of governmental accounting standards is advantageous but not required.
