Assist in integrating project schedules, establishing governance, and monitoring project performance to support project delivery.
Minimum 3 years' experience in project coordination or junior project management, with skills in schedule integration, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and deliverable management.
Title - Junior Project Manager Location - Mirabel, QC 3 days Onsite Mandatory Duration - 12 Months Bilingual Candidates (French/English) REQ Qualification Notes: 1) 3 years' Experience working as a Project Coordinator/Junior Project Manager Program Management Activities include but are not limited to: • Integrate schedules of the various workstreams into a Program master schedule. • Establish project governance to ensure a consistent drumbeat and regular cadences. • Contribute to program-level deliverables, including Project definition, OBS, WBS, PBS, Organizational note, financial dossier. • Ensuring that risks and opportunities are properly documented and managed, including monitoring of their applicable risk response plan. • Engaging with stakeholders on the progress of actions which have been identified as key enablers towards project execution success and support documenting progress on those actions. Deliverables: • Deliverables are classed by project phase as follows: Opportunity Study: Pre project study to validate project launch. • Initiating: Defines a new Project and obtains required authorization/information to launch the Project such as breaking down into manageable parts, setting the project organization, defining the processes when needed • Planning: Establishes the scope of the Project, defines the actions required to achieve the Project objectives and meet the customer requirements in terms of schedule, cost, resource and risk management (Project baseline). • Monitoring and controlling: Monitors the performance of the project in accordance with the Project Baseline and controls the project through corrective actions, risk responses and integrated change control. • Closing: Finalizes the Project; the closing phase aims to consolidate lessons learnt, bring it to an orderly end, appraise the performance and transfer the deliverables to the operational business • In addition, there are specific deliverables for PPM Method & Tool activities and Travels. Each deliverable has a level of complexity as follows: • Low: Ensuring the application of Project Management processes, methods and tools, delivering progress reports (KPI's, dashboards) on schedule, interdependencies, costs/fundings, resources/partners & suppliers, actions, and risks/opportunities, with a limited number of interfaces. • Medium: Ensuring the application of Project Management processes, methods and tools, defining or delivering progress reports (KPI's, dashboards) on schedule, interdependencies, costs/fundings, resources/partners & suppliers, actions, and risks/opportunities. • High: Deploying and ensuring the application of Project Management processes, methods and tools, defining and delivering progress reports (KPI's, dashboards) on schedule, interdependencies, costs/fundings, resources/partners & suppliers, actions, risks/opportunities, for the management of large/complex and highly interfaced projects. Note: This activity typically corresponds to PMO/PMBP work packages performed in most complex project environments.
