JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, U.S. Patient Access is a multi-faceted role accountable for aiding the patient access support strategy. This position will manage, monitor, and recommend improvements for various patient access services (Blink Rx, Digital Rx Request, Patient Assistance Program, financial support programs). and will oversee the day-to-day of access tactical operations and manage customer experience needs through third party vendors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Define and drive a best-in-class customer experience strategy that enhances the patient experience. Responsible for issue resolution and using tactical insights to recommend continuous improvement. Monitor and evaluate call center performance, ensuring compassionate, compliant, and timely support to patients and providers. Prepare executive dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making. Act as the escalation point for unresolved patient or pharmacy issues; lead timely resolution with a focus on patient well-being. Implement root cause analyses and corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Manages the day-to-day tactical operations of patient access programs (BlinkRx, dRx, PAP, and other financial support programs as needed) and liaising across network of external vendors and internal resources. Monitor shared mailboxes, offering support where able and triaging accordingly when necessary. This will include proactively communicating with public interest contacts. Engages directly with public interest accounts identified in the national plan to ensure access and direct sales for company products (e.g., county, and local government, public health agencies, first responders, hospitals, urgent care, school districts, and other strategic accounts). Contributes to patient access promotional activities as required (webinars, collateral development and review, customer outreach, etc.) Nationwide travel required: 25%, including frequent field visits, customer meetings, conferences and other engagements. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably business, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. 10+ years of experience within the pharma/biotech industry, including experience in patient access, customer service, or hub services leadership role. Experience with CRM systems, hub technologies, data analytics tools, and customer service platforms strongly preferred. Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer/patient service within a regulated environment. Relevant public interest account engagement experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: General knowledge of the U.S. access and reimbursement ecosystem including public policy, government funded drug reimbursement programs, commercial payers, distribution and trade, and patient support services. Working understanding of the role of public interest sector and role in patient access to pharmaceutical products. Strong business acumen and business analytic skills to balance priorities, identify resource needs, execute against plans, evaluate results and adjust accordingly. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and lead people directly or indirectly. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and basic data analysis) and PowerPoint (slide design and presentation preparation) required. Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate complex concepts, and build durable strong internal and external business relationships. Ability to handle sensitive or escalated patient/provider issues with empathy, discretion, and professionalism. At ARS, we are proud to offer a highly competitive compensation & benefits package. The full-time salary range for this posted position is $180,000 to $195,000 and may be eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus. Actual pay rates are determined by considering multiple factors including qualifications, relevance of experience, education & credentials, subject matter expertise, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
