Summary This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2059000and is part of the FL CBJTC, National Guard. Duties Help As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-0346-9, you will be the subject matter expert for logistics, develops, implements and evaluates the logistic goals and priorities for the organization. Advises the command in the area of logistics operations. Oversees and reviews unit level feeder reports. Analyzes and/or prepares the logistics and equipment readiness areas of the organizational readiness report. Reviews, analyzes, and provides recommendations relative to proposed Modified Table of Organization and Equipment/Table of Distribution and Allowances (MTOE/TDA) and/or force structure changes to determine the impact on equipment authorizations. Remains current on and ensures the implementation of policy statements, regulations and directives. Provides guidance and assistance to ensure command programs have been implemented and evaluates their effectiveness in subordinate elements. Plans for the establishment and operation of the Administrative and Logistics Operations Center (ALOC). Develops and implements tactical standard operating procedures for logistics. Qualifications AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. MILITARY GRADES: Warrant Officer/Enlisted: E7 thru CW4 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09 Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
