Brown and Joseph is seeking a Vice President of Business Development as we continue to grow our team. This position will drive new business development and manage client relationships within the healthcare insurance sector. You will work with health plans, managed care organizations, and third-party administrators to deliver value through our recovery services. Job Responsibilities: • Identify and engage prospective health payor clients. • Present and promote overpayment recovery solutions to decision-makers. • Manage the entire sales process, including prospecting, presentations, negotiations, and closing. • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction. • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth. • Maintain accurate sales activity records and prepare reports for management. • Attend conferences and networking events to expand industry presence. • Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product developments. Qualifications and Requirements: • Proven experience in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM), or Health Payor industry healthcare sales, insurance, or revenue cycle management. • Strong understanding of health payor operations and compliance requirements. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. • Ability to learn quickly and articulate complex solutions clearly. • Strong network of industry contacts is highly desirable. • High energy, positive attitude, and strong customer service skills. • Must be able to travel 30% of the time Compensation and Benefits: • $120,000 base salary and very competitive commission structure • Benefit package with health, dental, vision, life and disability coverage options • 401(k) retirement plan option with company matching • Generous paid time off policy - start with 18 days per year • Paid holidays immediately upon hire - 7 standard holidays & 2 floating holidays of your choice We look forward to you joining our team!
