The Role: We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented eCommerce UX Designer to join our Growth team and help shape the next evolution of ARMRA’s digital experience. With a major site refresh underway and an ongoing focus on conversion optimization and landing page experimentation, this role will own the design and optimization of intuitive, high-performing customer journeys. You’ll collaborate closely with our VP and Director of Ecommerce, Brand, and Marketing teams to turn data-driven insights into beautiful, functional, and high-converting experiences. Responsibilities Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities across the purchase journey and site experience. Work closely with stakeholders (e.g., Product, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Development) to turn research and business goals into wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes that are both functional and high-impact. Design and refine user interfaces that balance brand expression with performance - ensuring accessibility, consistency, and seamless usability across all devices. Lead or support usability testing and A/B testing; analyze results to iterate and improve design outcomes. Collaborate cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Product, and Development teams to align design decisions with growth goals and business objectives. Support ongoing CRO initiatives, new landing page design, and the site refresh through a test-and-learn approach. Stay current on emerging UX trends, ecommerce best practices, and new tools that enhance design efficiency and customer experience. What Sets You Apart Deep understanding of user-centered design and agile, iterative workflows. Strong grasp of accessibility, responsive design, and UX best practices for web and mobile. Proven experience designing for subscription-based or high-growth DTC ecommerce brands. Comfortable working with experimentation and analytics tools (e.g., Intelligems, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, LogRocket, FullStory, Visually.io). Collaborative and proactive — able to translate feedback into elegant, data-informed design solutions. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of UX design experience, ideally within ecommerce or consumer brands. Familiarity with the Shopify platform and GA4 or other analytics tools to inform data-driven design decisions. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools. Working knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills, with an exceptional eye for detail and consistency. AI: Familiarity with AI-powered design and prototyping tools to accelerate UX workflows is a plus. Experience designing interfaces for AI-driven products or features, including predictive recommendations, personalization, or conversational interactions, is also desirable.
