Full Description

About Us At Arkenstone, we empower defense tech startups with the tools, infrastructure, and compliance solutions they need to become successful prime contractors. Our mission is to remove barriers and help innovators grow - from day one to becoming a trusted prime for the U.S. Government. • Infrastructure Consolidation: Lead the technical merger of acquired entities into a single, hardened Arkenstone Microsoft 365 tenant. • Identity & Access (IAM): Own the Okta and Keeper environments. Automate onboarding and offboarding to ensure zero-day access removal. • SaaS Governance: Audit our current SaaS "bloat." Identify redundancies, negotiate licenses, and deduplicate our stack. • Endpoint Management: Transition our hardware fleet from manual tracking to a fully automated MDM solution that enforces encryption and compliance. • Security Operations: Act as the primary point of contact for our MSSP. Review security alerts, manage firewall updates, and oversee incident response. • Compliance & Documentation: Partner with engineering to document corporate products and address physical security requirements for FedRAMP and NIST 800-171. • Office & Helpdesk: Formalize the IT helpdesk experience. Oversee the IT build-out for new offices and manage local office tech maintenance. Who You Are • The Acquisition Veteran: You have successfully navigated IT mergers before. You know where the "ghost accounts" hide and how to merge tenants without losing data. • Security-First: You don't see security as a hurdle; you see it as the product. You are comfortable working within the constraints of FedRAMP and CUI handling. • Systems Thinker: You prefer automation over manual checklists. You’d rather spend four hours automating a process in Okta than ten minutes doing it manually every week. • Reliable Partner: You can communicate complex technical migrations to non-technical staff and keep the "fix-it" spirit alive while professionalizing the department. Requirements • 7+ years of experience in IT Operations or Systems Administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior-level role. • Expertise in the Microsoft Stack: Deep knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID), Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Intune (especially in a GCC High or sensitive environment). • IAM Mastery: Proven experience managing Okta, including integration with HRIS and automated provisioning. • Network Security: Experience maintaining enterprise-grade firewalls and managing external MSSP relationships. • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with NIST 800-171, CMMC, or FedRAMP frameworks. • Project Management: Ability to manage high-stakes migrations (like Tenant-to-Tenant) with zero downtime for the business. • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, ITIL, CISSP, CISM). Benefits for working with us! We are committed to supporting our employees both professionally and personally. Our robust benefits package is designed to promote your well-being, growth, and work-life balance: • Competitive Salary: Recognizing your hard work with attractive compensation and rewarding excellence. • Health and Wellness Programs: Including medical, dental, and vision insurance options, along with mental health support and wellness initiatives. • Retirement Planning: Secure your future with our flexible 401(k) plan and matching company contributions. • Paid Time Off & Holidays: Generous PTO, sick leave, and holiday pay to help you recharge and enjoy life outside of work. • Employee Assistance Program: Confidential resources for personal and professional support. • Professional Development: Access to training, certifications, and continuing education to foster your career growth. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable law.
