Retail Sales Associate - ARJ Los Angeles, Santa Monica About Us ARJ Los Angeles (arj.la) curates artisanal tableware and contemporary home décor from Japan, Korea, and Europe. With locations in Santa Monica, ROW DTLA, and an online store, we’re a fast-growing, design-driven brand passionate about quality, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Overview We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our Santa Monica store. Part-time and full-time positions are available. As the face and voice of our brand, you’ll provide exceptional customer service while helping customers discover and connect with our unique collections. Each artisan-made, one-of-a-kind piece has a story to tell. We want you to deliver those stories to our customers, helping them understand the craftsmanship and passion behind every item. Responsibilities • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. • Share accurate and engaging product information to enhance customer understanding. • Process transactions accurately using POS systems. • Provide excellent customer service via phone and email. • Stock and display merchandise to maintain a beautiful store environment. Requirements • Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. • Passion for design, home decor, and artisanal craftsmanship. • Proficient in using basic technology (iPad and Mac). • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify) is a plus. • Attention to detail in identifying and handling various SKUs. • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required. • Fluency in Japanese or Korean is a plus. Working Hours Monday - Friday, 11 AM – 6 PM / Saturday - Sunday, 11 AM – 6:30 PM This role requires a minimum commitment of 20-40 hours per week.
