Data Entry Specialist - Aris Medical About the Role Aris Medical is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our administrative team. You'll play a critical role in maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring our healthcare data systems are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities • Enter patient information, medical records, and billing data into electronic health record (EHR) systems with high accuracy • Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and medical histories • Process medical documents, lab results, and physician notes into appropriate systems • Review data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA regulations • Generate reports and maintain organized digital filing systems • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve data discrepancies • Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets • Assist with data cleanup projects and system migrations as needed Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred • 1+ years data entry experience (healthcare setting preferred) • Typing speed of 65+ WPM with 98% accuracy or higher • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) • Understanding of medical terminology • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Preferred • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech • Medical coding or billing knowledge • Familiarity with insurance verification processes Company DescriptionArisMedcore operates state-of-the-art laboratory facilities equipped with the latest diagnostic technology.
