Growing Transportation and Logistics company has an opening for an experienced Delivery Operations Manager, with Last/Final Mile home delivery expertise. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in operations and logistics and proven management, dispatch, and customer service skills, preferably in the Last and Final Mile segment. This position supports all site operations including staffing, driver recruitment, KPIs, client relationships, and safety measures. Clients: Bobs Discount Furniture Warehouse / Cross Dock Location: 3902 Hanna Cir, Indianapolis IN 46241 Industry: Transportation/ Furniture White Glove Delivery / 3PL Schedule: Tue - Sat / Start time 5am / 5 Days Job functions include: • Manage morning load outs and returns process. • Dispatching and scheduling of daily routes and deliveries. • Own client expectations for all delivery services. • Ensuring safe and efficient operations. • Carrying out supervisory duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. • Ability to excel in fast-paced work environment. • Supporting workforce needs and recruitment of Independent Contractors. • Own the client and customer service in investigations and resolutions to customer issues. • Promoting safety in the workplace by conducting safety audits and safety meetings. • Own the quality and service initiatives.
