Your mission is to transform their requests into flawlessly entered orders, crystal-clear communication, and actionable data that keeps materials and schedules aligned. Picture this: a customer calls with an urgent order change. You update the ERP immediately, notify production and scheduling, and follow through until the shipment is confirmed. Meanwhile, you compile data for sales forecasts that inform material planning—then switch gears to close out an Excel analysis and finalize a weekly activity report. It’s high-energy work where your organization, urgency, and communication make all the difference. What you'll do • Serve as a responsive, proactive point of contact for business customers—building relationships and ensuring timely delivery of parts. • Accurately and efficiently enter customer orders into the company ERP/database. • Track orders and provide status updates from entry to shipment. • Support and maintain manufacturing software and key databases. • Balance priorities to meet deadlines and evolving customer needs. • Communicate order changes and critical updates to the appropriate internal teams quickly. • Manage phone and email inquiries with a strong sense of urgency. • Execute miscellaneous Excel projects and data tasks. • Provide data and sales forecasts that guide material requirements and scheduling decisions. • Prepare periodic reports on activities, sales volume, expenses, and related metrics. • Revise and maintain up-to-date Inside Sales Work Instructions. • Perform all other duties as assigned. What you bring • High energy and outstanding communication skills. • Background exposure to manufacturing and/or fabrication processes and equipment. • Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) and strong general computer skills. • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime to meet business demands. • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a team. • Reliability, flexibility, attention to detail, and strong organization. • A strong sense of urgency with both internal and external stakeholders. • Five years of experience working with ERP systems.
