The Delivery Manager of Client Training at Argano is a pivotal leadership role focused on bridging the gap between the D365 expertise of the Argano Microsoft Business Unit and the functional, working needs of our clients and their end-users. This position is responsible for the successful planning, delivery and governance of training services across client projects. This role sits at the intersection of delivery leadership, client advisory, consultant management, and commercial rigor. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable advocating and mentoring both D365 CX and F&SCM training consultants, setting and managing scope-creep with clients, and confidently presenting training strategy, scope, and cost to senior stakeholders within Argano as well as to prospective and current client leaders. This role owns the quality, consistency, and scalability of our D365 Training delivery, ensuring training efforts add measurable value to clients while remaining sustainable, profitable, and alignment with Argano’s business goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Training Delivery & Client Leadership Conduct Training Assessments by collaborate with clients to understand training needs, vision, and requirements across user groups and stakeholders. Estimate accurate costs for training services, and translate them into effective training programs that are supported by our current training team and offerings. Design and recommend training curricula, methodologies, documentation, and resources aligned to adult learning best practices and functional end-user audiences. Confidently present Training Recommendations to client leadership and executives, including scope, hours, and cost rationale—not just deliverables. Guide clients toward training approaches that maximize value while minimizing long-term overhead and maintenance burden. Foster strong client relationships by actively engaging with them to address training needs and expectations. Serve as the primary escalation point for training-related issues, concerns, and feedback across projects. Rigorously manage scope and enforce contractual boundaries, proactively identifying and addressing scope creep. Review roles, rates, and hours for Training Team resources for both upcoming opportunities and current projects to ensure demand planning accuracy. Planning, Tracking & Operational Excellence Work alongside Project and Client teams to outline training activities and manage deadlines, milestones, and timelines for both training management activities and consultant-owned deliverables within project timelines and within work management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO). Ensure training delivery plans align with both project timelines and resource availability. Review supply and demand planning reports to identify gaps, overages, or scheduling inconsistencies across the training team. Consultant Management & Advocacy Ensure training consultants are consistently scheduled and appropriately staffed across projects. Advocate for training consultants when delivery pressures arise, coaching them on how to respond to client or project management challenges. Support the ongoing growth of training consultants in both hard and soft skills, ensuring they remain informed, confident, supported and effective. Develop and maintain software training materials, documentation, and resources to support client training initiatives and training consultant professional development, as needed. Commercial & Contract Management Estimate training costs accurately and explain how pricing is derived for both traditional and unconventional training offerings. Write clear, comprehensive, and enforceable verbiage in our Statements of Work (SOWs) to clearly define training roles, responsibilities, deliverables, assumptions, and pricing. Sales & Offering Development Become fully proficient in the organization’s training services and offerings, with the ability to articulate and sell those options to clients. Partner with Sales team representatives and Delivery Center Executives (DCEs) to brainstorm and shape new or unconventional training offerings. Contribute to the evolution of training services to meet emerging client needs and delivery models. SKILL REQUIREMENTS Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and inspire a team of client training professionals. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members. Training Program Development: Ability to design effective training programs and options that align with client objectives. Incorporate industry best practices and adult learning principles. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand client needs and tailor training solutions accordingly. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Project Management: Strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery of training programs. Monitor and report on project progress. Analytical Skills: Analyze client requirements and translate them into training objectives. Use past experiences and data to determine accurate costs for training services. Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as technology and business development, to ensure a holistic project approach to client training.
