Role Overview: As a Senior Financial Analyst at Aretum, you will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. You will provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and help optimize financial performance across various projects and programs. What You'll Do: - You will analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. - You will develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes. - You will prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information. - You will assist in the development of business cases and cost-benefit analyses. - You will monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals. - You will support audit and compliance activities by providing necessary documentation and analysis. - You will contribute to process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency. What You Bring: - You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. - You have at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within government contracting or related industries. - You possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques. - You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - You demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - You are familiar with financial systems and reporting tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in defense, civilian, or homeland security sectors. - Advanced certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA. - Knowledge of government budgeting and acquisition processes. - Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
