Role Overview: As a Senior Financial Analyst at Aretum, you will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. You will provide insightful financial guidance to leadership, helping to drive strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health of the organization. What You'll Do: - You will analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. - You will develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. - You will prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. - You will assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. - You will monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to drive business performance. - You will support audit activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - You will contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as needed. What You Bring: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the defense or government contracting sectors. - Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills. - Experience with financial planning software and ERP systems. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with government contract accounting and compliance. - Knowledge of federal budgeting processes and regulations. - Advanced data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Power BI. - Experience working in a mission-driven or technology-focused organization.
