Role Overview: As a Capture Manager at Aretum, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by leading capture efforts for new contracts and opportunities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop winning strategies, manage proposal development, and ensure alignment with client needs and organizational goals. What You'll Do: - You will lead the capture process from opportunity identification through contract award. - You will develop and execute capture strategies that maximize win probability. - You will coordinate with business development, technical, and proposal teams to prepare compelling proposals. - You will manage relationships with clients and partners to gather intelligence and build trust. - You will analyze competitive landscapes and market trends to inform capture plans. - You will track and report on capture progress and adjust strategies as needed. - You will mentor and guide junior capture and proposal staff. - You will ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements throughout the capture process. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in capture management or business development within the government contracting sector. - Proven success in leading capture efforts for defense, civilian, or homeland security contracts. - Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with CRM and proposal management tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with technology-enabled solutions and digital transformation projects. - Established relationships within government agencies and industry partners. - PMP or similar project management certification. - Advanced degree in business, public administration, or related field.
