Role Overview: As a Capture Manager at Aretum, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by leading capture efforts for new contracts and opportunities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop winning strategies, manage proposal development, and ensure alignment with customer needs and company goals. What You'll Do: - You will lead and manage capture efforts from opportunity identification through contract award. - You will develop and execute capture strategies that align with customer requirements and company capabilities. - You will coordinate with business development, technical, and proposal teams to prepare compelling proposals. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to understand their needs and priorities. - You will analyze competitive landscapes and market trends to inform capture strategies. - You will manage capture schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and effective delivery. - You will provide leadership and mentorship to capture and proposal team members. - You will track and report on capture progress and outcomes to senior leadership. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in capture management or business development within the defense or government contracting sectors. - Proven success in leading capture efforts and winning complex government contracts. - Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and regulations. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams. - Proficiency with CRM and proposal management tools. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with homeland security or civilian agency contracts. - Background in technology or engineering disciplines. - PMP or similar project management certification. - Established network within government agencies and industry partners.
