Role Overview: As a Capture Manager at Aretum, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying, developing, and securing new contract opportunities. You will lead capture efforts from opportunity identification through proposal submission, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and customer needs. What You'll Do: - You will identify and qualify new business opportunities within the defense, civilian, and homeland security markets. - You will develop and execute capture strategies that align with company objectives and customer requirements. - You will lead proposal development efforts, coordinating with technical, pricing, and management teams to produce compelling submissions. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. - You will analyze competitive landscapes and market trends to inform capture strategies. - You will manage capture schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and effective proposal delivery. - You will provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on capture progress and risks. - You will mentor and guide junior capture team members to build organizational capability. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in capture management or business development within government contracting. - Proven track record of successfully winning complex federal contracts. - Strong understanding of the federal procurement process and regulations. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. - Proficiency with capture management tools and CRM systems. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience in defense, homeland security, or civilian government sectors. - Familiarity with technology-enabled solutions and digital transformation initiatives. - PMP or similar project management certification. - Established network of government and industry contacts.
