Role Overview: As a Capture Manager at Aretum, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by leading capture efforts for new contracts and opportunities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop winning strategies, manage proposal development, and ensure alignment with client needs and organizational goals. What You'll Do: - You will lead the capture process from opportunity identification through proposal submission. - You will develop and execute capture strategies that maximize win probability. - You will coordinate with business development, technical, and executive teams to gather input and align messaging. - You will manage relationships with clients and partners to understand requirements and build trust. - You will oversee proposal development, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery. - You will analyze competitive landscapes and market trends to inform capture plans. - You will track capture progress and report status to senior leadership. - You will mentor and guide junior team members involved in capture activities. What You Bring: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in capture management or business development within the government contracting sector. - Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and regulations. - Proven ability to develop and implement effective capture strategies. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex proposal efforts. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with defense, civilian, or homeland security agencies. - Familiarity with CRM and proposal management software. - PMP or similar project management certification. - Established network within government contracting communities.
