We are immediately hiring a National Accounts Manager who will oversee and grow our relationships with key retail and hardware customers across the U.S. This role will be critical in driving strategic growth for our flooring adhesives and installation product lines within big-box retailers, home centers, and hardware co-ops. This position will report to our Vice President of Business Operations and Marketing. This position will be located at ARDEX Corporate Headquarters, 400 ARDEX Park Drive, PA 15001. Candidates who reside in Charlotte, North Carolina are also encouraged to apply (and may work remotely) This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday with flexible work initiatives. What you will do: • Account Leadership: • Manage and grow national retail and hardware accounts, including chains such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Menards, True Value, Ace Hardware, and similar. • Serve as the key liaison between W.W. Henry and customer buying, category, and merchandising teams. • Drive annual planning, strategic reviews, and ongoing business development initiatives. • Sales and Growth Revenue: • Develop and implement account-specific sales plans aligned with corporate objectives. • Achieving revenue targets, improving category performance, and ensure profitable growth. • Identify and execute opportunities for line extensions, new placements, and increased SKU penetration. • Promotions and Program Execution: • Lead the planning and execution of promotional programs, product launches, and category resets. • Work closely with marketing to develop POS materials, merchandising strategies, and promotional calendars. • Monitor ROI and success metrics for promotions and campaigns. • Forecasting & Inventory Coordination: • Collaborate with demand planning and supply chain teams to ensure accurate forecasting and product availability. • Manage seasonal planning and inventory alignment for promotional periods and resets. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Partner with product management, technical support, and customer service to ensure seamless execution and high customer satisfaction. • Provide field insights to guide new product development and go-to-market strategy. • Reporting Analysis: • Analyze sales trends, category performance, and competitive activity. • Prepare monthly business updates and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for senior management and customers. What you will bring to ARDEX: • Experience managing national or large regional accounts in the building materials, hardware, or home improvement sectors. • Knowledge of retail account structures, pricing strategies, promotional planning, and vendor negotiations. • Proven success managing accounts such as Home Depot, Lowe's, or hardware co-ops. • Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with cross-functional collaboration. • Experience with flooring, adhesives, or installation-related building products. • Understanding of the installer/end-user customer base and value chain in the construction industry. • Familiarity with planograms, merchandising strategies, and hardware channel sales cycles. • Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and sales reporting systems. • Ability to travel up to 30-40% as required, including by air, with occasional overnight • Valid and clean driver's license Education • Bachelor's degree required in Business or another related field.
