If outside the Chicagoland area, you will work remotely from your home office and travel when needed to support clients; anticipate travel up to 30% based on sales season variability, on average 2-3 days/month. Position Summary The Director/AVP of Client Service partners with the Account Executive (AE) to help clients successfully implement and optimize LRAP strategies. This role serves as a seasoned advisor and primary account manager for a portfolio of clients and provides strategic leadership within the Client Service function through best practices, operational improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Areas of Responsibilities • Serves as the primary account manager for an assigned portfolio of 10–25 client institutions and supports an additional 10-15 client institutions, led by an Account Executive. • Identifies, shares and implements LRAP best practices. • Facilitates strategic conversations with client leadership to influence enrollment decisions and outcomes. • Partners with Account Executives to plan and lead implementation of new client strategies and event support. • Oversees and executes student event planning and delivery with limited support. • Delivers impactful client-facing presentations and trainings. • Helps retain and grow assigned accounts through proactive service, needs analysis, and program expansion opportunities. • Partners with Account Executives to strengthen client relationships at multiple levels across campus, including Cabinet-level officers. • Coordinates with internal teams to improve operational processes that support service delivery. • Champions service excellence and cross-functional collaboration within the organization. • Uses tools like Salesforce, client data dashboards, and internal reports to ensure efficiency and alignment. • Offers guidance and informal mentorship to new or developing team members. • Contributes to team training or internal projects. Position Requirements • Must reside in a state where Ardeo is a registered employer • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred • 4+ years in higher education admissions/enrollment experience at a non-profit or public university • 3+ years of direct client service or account management experience in higher education • Strong communicator and presenter, confident working with leaders at all levels • Models professionalism, attention to detail, and client-first mindset for other team members. • Builds relationships and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, proficiency with CRM tools (e.g SalesForce) is preferred • Ability to travel up to 30% within the continental U.S. on average 2-3 days/month • Candidates in the Chicagoland area are expected to work in the Lisle office 1 day/week Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes both base salary and bonus opportunity.
