Define and evolve revenue strategy, lead cross-functional initiatives, and oversee revenue systems to enable scalable growth.
7+ years in Revenue Strategy or Operations, experience with GTM platforms, strong analytical and strategic skills, ability to lead initiatives in fast-paced environments.
Join Archive in our mission to change consumer shopping behavior for the better. If you think humans buy too much stuff and throw too much away, then this problem is for you. As the leading technology platform for branded resale, we now power circular businesses for 50+ brands globally including Lululemon, The North Face and New Balance. We are growing our team of highly motivated, forward-thinking individuals to help build the most delightful user experience for shopping used items, and the software to help brands make this a significant part of their business. If this mission speaks to you, come join us as we grow our share of the booming second hand market—projected to grow 3X faster than the overall global apparel market and to hit $350 Billion globally by 2028. About the role Archive is seeking a dynamic Director of Revenue Strategy & Operations to architect the next phase of our revenue engine. This leader will serve as a critical partner to GTM leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and the executive team — helping shape Archive’s long-term commercial strategy and contributing directly to company-wide planning and decision-making. This role sets the strategic direction for RevOps by designing the frameworks, insights, and operating mechanisms that power predictable, efficient revenue growth. Because Archive is in the early stages of formalizing its Revenue Operations function, you will have the rare opportunity to define foundational processes and systems rather than inherit legacy structures. You’ll build the operating models, analytics, and tooling that enable scalable, repeatable revenue performance. You will lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives and develop scalable systems and processes that support Archive’s next stage of growth. You will also resource and manage external partners or contractors to support systems and operational execution as needed. Responsibilities Define and evolve Archive’s revenue strategy — including segmentation, sales motions, growth planning, and the frameworks that shape how Archive brings products to market. Serve as a strategic advisor to GTM and executive leadership, translating complex insights into crisp recommendations that influence prioritization, resource allocation, and long-term direction. Own company-wide forecasting and performance management, ensuring accuracy, visibility, accountability, and cross-functional alignment. Design and refine Archive’s sales model, including territories, coverage, capacity planning, and incentive compensation structures. Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and end-to-end funnel performance across Marketing, Sales, Brand Success, and Operations. Identify emerging patterns across the revenue engine, surface root causes to leadership, and proactively design scalable solutions that strengthen future performance. Establish scalable processes, data standards, and operating rhythms that support predictable, efficient revenue growth across the entire GTM organization. Set the strategic direction for revenue systems (Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and others) and oversee the resourcing necessary for technical execution, optimization, and automation. Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and insights that clarify business performance and enable confident, data-informed decisions. Partner closely with Product, Growth, Operations, and Brand Success to ensure alignment across the entire revenue lifecycle — from acquisition to retention to expansion. Requirements 7+ years in Revenue Strategy, Revenue Operations, GTM Operations, or Strategic Sales Operations within a high-growth environment. Demonstrated ability to shape GTM strategy and partner directly with executives to drive high-impact decisions. Strong strategic and commercial acumen with a track record of architecting or transforming revenue engines. Deep experience in forecasting, scenario modeling, and navigating dynamic or complex revenue structures. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to distill ambiguity and complexity into clear, actionable recommendations. Proven ability to operate autonomously, drive cross-functional alignment, and lead initiatives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. Proficiency with Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and related GTM platforms — with the ability to set systems strategy and oversee technical execution. Strong communication and relationship-building skills across GTM, Product, Operations, and leadership. Archive is a Series B company backed by lauded investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Energize Capital, and Bain Capital Ventures. We prize an inclusive and transparent culture, and remain true to our values in everything we do. We were honored as Fast Company’s #2 Most Innovative Company in Retail in 2024, and continue to challenge ourselves to change consumer shopping behavior for the better. We consider applicants of all backgrounds. If you are excited about what we’re building but don't meet some of the criteria above, please don’t let that discourage you from applying. Please note, we are unable to accept applications from candidates outside of the US at this time.
