Archer has been the leading risk management software platform for over 20 years, including acquisitions by RSA, Dell, Symphony Technology Group, and Cinven who recently launched Archer as an independent business unit. https://www.archerirm.com/ Global Total Rewards & HR Programs Manager About the Role We are seeking a hands‑on Global Total Rewards & HR Programs Manager with strong U.S. benefits, compensation, project management experience as well as demonstrated international benefits exposure in APJ and/or EMEA. This role owns Total Rewards excluding payroll, covering U.S. self‑insured benefits, global benefits coordination, compensation program administration, and HR roadmap / PMO leadership. You will partner closely with Finance and FP&A to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, cost‑conscious, and delivered with high quality. This role requires hands‑on experience with both U.S. Total Rewards programs and international benefits in APJ and/or EMEA. Candidates without global benefits experience may not be considered. This is a doer‑leader role: while you manage and mentor an HR Administrator and potentially one or two contractors as well as vendor relationships, you are expected to roll up your sleeves and personally ensure execution, analysis, and first‑time‑right results. Key Responsibilities Global Total Rewards & Compensation (Primary Focus) • S. Benefits • Own and administer U.S. self‑insured medical, dental, and vision plans, including: • Stop‑loss strategy, TPA/vendor management • Annual renewals and open enrollment • Compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA) • Global Benefits (APJ and/or EMEA Experience Required) • Coordinate benefits administration, renewals and ensure compliance across 24+ countries • Support auxiliary programs (e.g., car allowances, mobile phone programs, similar policies) • Global Compensation • Lead ongoing compensation administration, excluding payroll, including: • Annual merit increase process • Quarterly and annual bonus programs • Associated system administration and data validation • Partner with Finance to ensure funding aligns with approved budgets and forecasts • Perform ongoing compensation analysis (internal equity, external competitiveness, trends) • Support global and regional salary structure reviews and adjustments • In coordination with Global HR Leader, partner with FP&A on: • Annual merit budgeting and allocation • Bonus funding, modeling, and accruals • Quarterly and annual reporting • Ensure accuracy, audit readiness, and data integrity across compensation systems • Total Rewards Analysis & Financial Partnership • Partner with global brokers, compensation consultants, PEO/EOR partners and vendors • Conduct market data and benefits benchmarking across regions, including APJ and/or EMEA • Review global compensation and benefits competitiveness and: • Compare company programs to local market practices • Develop data‑driven, financially sound recommendations • Present proposals to the Global HR Leader & other senior leadership in partnership with Finance HR Roadmap & Program Management (PMO) • Serve as PMO for the Global HR Roadmap • Drive agile planning, sequencing, and execution of HR initiatives • Actively push for on‑time delivery, following up with accountable owners • Identify when competing priorities exceed capacity and recommend re‑sequencing or deferral • Provide clear, senior‑level summaries and dashboards for leadership (Experience may include Asana, Excel, or similar tools — focus is on outcomes, not the tool.) Systems, Operations & Leadership • Serve as system administrator for compensation, bonus, and benefits tools • HRIS experience required (UKG current system, other enterprise HRIS acceptable) • Manage and mentor one HR Administrator, stepping in personally during peak cycles • Serve as HR procurement point of contact for HR vendor contracts and invoicing • Coordinate immigration administration with external counsel and internal stakeholders • As part of HR Leadership Team, may assume leadership and/or project management of additional HR initiatives or projects as needed What We’re Looking For: Required Experience • 7–10+ years in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or HR Programs • 2–4+ years serving in a project management or program leadership capacity (formal or informal), including ownership of cross‑functional HR initiatives, roadmaps, timelines, and global stakeholder coordination • Strong, hands‑on experience with: • * U.S. self‑funded benefits • Compensation administration (merit, bonus, analysis) • Demonstrated international benefits experience supporting APJ and/or EMEA (This role is not designed for someone without prior global benefits exposure.) • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deliver multi‑workstream HR projects, including defining scope, sequencing work, managing dependencies, risks, and executive updates • Experience partnering closely with Finance / FP&A • Advanced Excel / spreadsheet skills • HRIS experience (UKG environment preferred; equivalent experience acceptable) Preferred • Exposure to global compensation benchmarking across multiple countries • CEBS, CCP, CBP, SHRM‑CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or similar credentials How You’ll Succeed • Hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves, customer-service mindset • Strong sense of urgency balanced with quality and compliance • Analytical, financially grounded decision‑making • Collaborative communicator with confidence and humility • Comfortable challenging priorities and recommending trade‑offs when needed • Team‑oriented and accountable Why This Role • Total Rewards ownership (benefits + compensation, excluding payroll) • Broad exposure across U.S. and global HR • High visibility and partnership with HR and Finance leadership • Opportunity to be part of a strong, collaborative global people & culture team Additional Information: About Archer’s Culture and Work Environment: Our people, team collaboration and dynamic leadership is the centerpiece of our great culture and the reason for Archer’s 25 years of success.
