The Director, Property Risk Engineer is responsible for conducting Middle Market field surveys and providing comprehensive service support. This role includes both on-site physical surveys and virtual/phone assessments, focusing on detailed evaluations of operations, exposures, and control adequacy. Responsibilities: Conduct both on-site and virtual/phone assessments of prospects and clients. Perform detailed property evaluations and summarize findings in internal reports with appropriate recommendations for loss improvement. Assess sprinkler system adequacy and calculate Normal Loss Expectancies and Probable Maximum Loss Expectancies. Evaluate Nat Cat exposures (flood, windstorm, hail, wildfire, etc.). Provide support to underwriters, policyholders, and brokers. Required Skills: Extensive experience with conducting HPR (Highly Protected Risk) Property surveys. Competency with NFPA and FM data sheets. Experience in analyzing loss data and evaluating sprinkler system adequacy. Proficiency with Microsoft suite tools and applications. Strong analytical and time management skills. Effective communication skills for working with underwriters, policyholders, and brokers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Skills: Strong industry expertise in Manufacturing, Real Estate, and Hospitality. Education: Engineering, or comparable degree/experience.
