Description: • With a company culture rooted in collaboration, expertise and innovation, we aim to promote progress and inspire our clients, employees, investors and communities to achieve their greatest potential. • The Claims Division is seeking a Property Claims Account Manager (CAM) to join the Programs Claim Team. • Actively manage and effectively oversee assigned business accounts for commercial property claims handled by third party administrators. • Perform technical claims oversight on claims with an expected value over $50,000. • Attend mediations and trials. • Grant reserve and settlement authority on cases above the TPA’s authority. • Make coverage determinations and review Reservation of Rights and coverage disclaimer letters as prepared by the TPA. • Complete claims audits at TPA branch claims offices or online. • Handle or facilitate administrative tasks between Arch and the TPA to ensure seamless service delivery to the client. • Provide overall portfolio management of the book. Data, analysis, trending and action planning related to audits or other findings. • Responsible for Portfolio Management of assigned programs, which includes providing support to program-level CAM and Programs Underwriting team in understanding key drivers of activity and loss trends for assigned programs. • Ensure timely reporting of large losses and anticipated development. Coordinate capture of CAT event data for assigned programs. • Contribute claim insights to underwriting product development initiatives. • Provide monthly updates to stakeholders on claim key performance indicators. • Proactively review pending TPA files for potential oversight intervention. • Act as the Arch Property claims contact for assigned Property accounts written by Programs, including participating in client set-up meetings, telephonic and in person claims reviews, mid-term meetings, and resolving claims or service issues. • Conduct periodic Quality Assurance Audits of TPA performance consistent with claim handling guidelines and collaborate with TPA on action plans for improvement. • Work with Underwriting and Risk Control to assist in the risk selection process. • Provide feedback on any claims, legal or jurisdictional issues, and address potential solutions to current claims or service problems. • Participate in meetings with brokers and/or prospective accounts/program managers. • Identify loss trends on an account or book of business level. • Conduct due diligence reviews on new TPA’s. • Collaborate with other internal business units such as Finance, IT and Legal on any issues, trends or projects that arise. • Address state and federal regulatory issues (state insurance department audits/complaints, etc.).
