Role description: We are seeking a dynamic, client-facing leader to support the growth of our power and energy environmental services practice in Southeast Area with a focus on the power and energy market. In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate closely with Account Leaders, Market Sector Leaders, and technical teams to expand Arcadis’ presence and depth of relationships. You will develop strong relationships with existing and new clients, foster inspired partnerships, and lead/support technical project delivery to position Arcadis as a trusted partner for environmental solutions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in conducting site investigations for soil and groundwater contamination, paired with expertise in remediation technologies such as bioremediation, excavation, soil vapor extraction, and in-situ chemical oxidation and remediation strategy development. The candidate should excel in developing and implementing innovative solutions for cleanup and closure. Additionally, proven project management skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders are critical for this senior role. The candidate will have demonstrated ability to generate sales, identify opportunities, and win projects and will have the proven ability to lead project teams and foster collaboration across the organization. Role accountabilities: As Senior Program Manager, your responsibilities will include: Lead Growth Initiatives: Drive the expansion of environmental services in the Southeast Area, positioning Arcadis as a market leader. Expand Client Accounts: Work with account leaders and market sector leads to grow existing client accounts, particularly in the Southeast Area. Support client positioning and development of successful proposal pursuits. Develop Power and Energy Partnerships: Sustain and grow relationships with power and energy clients to deepen partnerships and long-term opportunities. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Arcadis teams to develop and deliver differentiated services, pursuit strategies, and innovative solutions while expanding Arcadis’ capabilities. Serve as Project Manager/Technical Expert: Manage technical project delivery, conduct technical report review and coach staff on technical writing, engage with clients to identify new work opportunities, prepare proposals and cost estimates, establish technical approaches, and direct project teams. Provide Leadership: Motivate project teams to meet goals, adhere to responsibilities and milestones, and deliver exceptional results. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships through frequent in-person meetings with clients. Health and Safety Stewardship: Actively promote a behavior-based safety culture through mentorship, engagement with field teams, and completion of annual training and safety activity requirements. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, sciences, or related field. 25 years of related experience Minimum of 15 years of relevant client-facing experience in environmental services and solutions PE, PG, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Why Arcadis?
