Salary: $55 - $65 Hourly Job Position: Senior Product Manager, Tools and Systems (California, US-based) We are looking for aSenior Product Manager who is a self-starter and who can ambitiously lead and manage our internal platform tools and systems used for merchandising, content management, and general management of SPEs streaming media products. This positionis responsible for overseeing production/project management of the front-end and back-end development, including offsite teams, ensuring the goals andobjectives of each delivery are accomplished within the prescribed time frame/budget requirements. This position will be on-site with our client, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and will report directly to the client regarding the project. JobResponsibilities • Product ownership throughout the development lifecycle as the main point of contact for product questions, issues, and feedback • Operating and improving the platform, maintaining a commitment to the quality of service • Document product requirements, write stories and acceptance criteria, that bring your product strategy to life, collaborating with: Product, Commercial Partnerships, UX/UI, Engineering, Marketing and Analytics • Work with the executive management team to understand commitments and resource requirements to ensure achievement of vision and needs • Manage all production processes (concept, product documentation, art, design, development, QA) related to your product(s) • Coordination of third-party development resources • Ensure timely delivery of milestones while safeguarding the quality of workin accordance with the pre-defined project schedule • Work with QA to triage service issues and drive improvements to the service • Contribute to improving the quality of our developments, the productivity of our teams, and the efficiency of our processes • Assist in customer service in validating issues and tracking solutions of your product(s). Job Qualifications: • Must be based in California and willing to work onsite. • 5+years of experience producing applications in the entertainment, video streaming, game, or relevant software development space • Excellent product judgment: You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments based on tradeoffs of different solutions, data, complex problems, various stakeholders, and many constraints. You have an in-depth understanding of what makes a user experience good or bad and have some data to back it up • Ability to work with others: You have excellent interpersonal skills. Youre a good listener and a great storyteller when describing your products • Strong project management skills: Fluent with Agile methodology and associated tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc) and not afraid to use them. • Experience managing remote development resources/teams in different time zones • Excellent critical analysis skills to diagnose problems and provide consistent guidance on different areas: design, experience, optimization, technology and business opportunities • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills • Experience in quality assurance/control testing • Prior experience in streaming media development, ad networks, ideally in entertainment, preferred, but not required Job Work Set up: • Onsite (Office Location: Culver City, CA) - Mondays to Thursdays / Remote - Fridays • 40 work hours/week • Full-Time Position with Benefits - Includes Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage through HMO.
