High school diploma or equivalent, preferably STNA certification, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to handle physical demands and multitasking.
Central Supply SUMMARY Central supply position is responsible for maintaining and ordering medical supplies as needed for the nursing department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for timely ordering and stocking of medical supplies for the facility • Ensure that all nurses stations are stocked with the necessary supplies • Organize nurse's stations on a weekly basis • Organize all rented equipment (i.e. beds, wheelchairs, etc.,) and send back when not in use • Assist with schedule and transport of residents and assist with scheduling for escort needs • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma or its equivalent • Prefer current STNA Certification • Strong oral and written communication skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure • Professional appearance and demeanor • Ability to be resourceful, tactful, and proactive in dealing with any issues that may arise PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
