Position Summary: The Master Data Manager has full ownership and control of our Master Data, and is responsible for the governance, accuracy, and integrity of all master data within the organization. This includes materials, products, vendors, customers, and related business-critical data. This role ensures that data standards are maintained across systems and processes to support efficient manufacturing operations, compliance, and business decision-making. Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop and implement master data management (MDM) strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data consistency and quality across all systems. • Support the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data for materials, BOMs, vendors, customers, and other critical entities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data standards and resolve discrepancies (e.g Business Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance). • Lead the Master Data Community and assign module owners. Manage access rights and role audits in SAP • Oversee workflows, SOPs, and escalation processes • Coordinate with IT (Raynet, SAP, I-way V4) for system alignment • Prioritize cleanup efforts and define module importance • Track KPIs: Percentage of clean records, issue resolution time, reporting accuracy • Support new part set up and existing part modifications in SAP as needed • Support the monitoring and auditing of data quality, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions. • Manage data migration and integration projects during ERP upgrades or system implementations. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to data management. • Utilize data analytics to provide insights and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Serve as the subject matter expert for master data processes and tools (e.g., SAP). • Other related duties and/or projects as assigned. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent experience. • 7 years of experience of progressive master data management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • 5 years of experience in data and/or financial analysis. • Experience using ERP Systems (SAP preferred). Skills • Ability to work closely with others in a collaborative team environment. • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and process integrity. • Strong oral and written interpersonal communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); with advanced proficiency in Excel. • Proficiency in Power BI a plus • Professional demeanor and ethical conduct, including handling confidential information appropriately. • Ability to work onsite in Rochester Hills 4+ days a week. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
