About the Role This Senior Business Analyst position is a key role in Arapahoe County's Information Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs and identifying opportunities for process improvements, leading requirements gathering sessions, and developing recommendations to implement solutions. • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals. • Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improvement or further leveraging these systems. • Lead requirements gathering sessions to identify requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions. • Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
