Position Summary The Head of Content will serve as a strategic leader responsible for shaping the organization’s editorial vision and driving a cohesive content strategy across platforms. This individual will oversee a talented content team, optimize production workflows and ensure that all content supports brand, audience and revenue objectives. A forward-thinking mindset and strong command of digital tools and AI-enabled content innovation are essential. Responsibilities Establish and maintain the editorial strategy, voice and standards Lead and develop the content team; manage resource allocation and workflows Guide content planning, production schedules and cross-functional alignment Analyze performance metrics to refine content strategy and enhance engagement Expand audience growth initiatives, including subscriptions and memberships Partner with commercial teams to strengthen digital advertising opportunities Monitor industry and technology trends to drive innovation in format and delivery Maintain high-quality standards, editorial integrity and legal compliance Provide ongoing reporting and insights to executive leadership Qualifications Extensive experience in content, editorial or publishing leadership with digital and print formats Deep understanding of storytelling, audience development and digital platforms Demonstrated ability to use data to inform strategy Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills Experience implementing or leveraging emerging content technologies The target hiring compensation range for this role is $80k – $100k.
