Aquent Studios is looking for an Art Director/Designer to assist with retail design for one of its top clients in the IT space. The role will involve conceptualizing, designing, and proofing 2D graphics for physical environments. Design involves modifying 2D graphics for different sizes and adjusting dimensions, elements, typography, color, and contrast. The aim is to create a consistent design system that retains visual impact and message across versions and sizes. Proofing involves examining printed materials to ensure they match the original design and meet quality standards, identifying errors, and providing feedback to the production team on design elements, consistency, printing quality, and impact. The goal is to approve the final proof for production. Duties include: Develop captivating concepts for windows and VM in-store that align with brand identity, seasonal themes, and promotional campaigns Create detailed designs, sketches, and mood boards to visualize concepts and communicate ideas to the team Collaborate with other team members, including Photo Art Directors, Designers, Producers, and Production to bring concepts to life Maintain brand consistency in all visual and retail content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and overall aesthetic. Develop the look of the channel creative assets, proposing placement, hierarchy, consistency and stories within the channel and pull in content art direction from program creatives Partner with the photography team on how design systems and components should flex within each channel. Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate gaps and needs, working through solutions and proposing alternatives (ie UI vs lifestyle). May be present on set as an ‘input’ for complex or key work streams, but is not expected on every/all photoshoots.
