AQUA Dermatology is Florida’s largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the Southeast, offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care, and radiation oncology.                       The Patient Account Representative position is responsible for taking incoming and making outgoing calls to patients and insurance companies to resolve account balances.  Essential duties: account review, customer service and billing.  Positions will perform any and all related duties assigned. This job operates in a clerical office setting. Responsibilities: * Complete all business-related requests and correspondence from patients and insurance companies. * Complete all assigned projects in a timely manner. * Assist clients and patients in all requested tasks. * Communicate to management, areas of concern or areas of improvement. * Performs various collection actions including the following and reporting of delinquent accounts to the collection agency. * Posts payments and prepares daily deposit. * Research and respond to all patient inquiries received by telephone and mail. * Update patient demographic information and initiate account adjustments. * Try to resolve account balances to zero prior to accounts being forwarded to an outside agency for collections. * Other duties as assigned.     Other * This is a full-time position. * Hybrid position   * Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Evening & Weekend work may be requested as job duties demand. * Participates in educational activities and attends department staff meetings. * Conducts oneself in accordance with company policies and procedures. * Maintains strict confidentiality, adhering to all HIPAA guidelines.
