Full Description

Laboratory & Manufacturing Technician Join our research/development and contract manufacturing department, which supports a variety of medical and industrial products and devices. Your contribution will benefit a wide range of major medical and industrial companies throughout the world. Come work for a global leader in polymer dip molding and dip coating. Role Responsibilities: Support laboratory and/or production including the operation of automated machines, testing and recording of polymer properties using established methods. Adjust polymer properties as instructed by Sr. Chemist to maintain target specification ranges during production. Perform basic visual and measurement inspections on products. Generate hand written labels and log production results when required. This full or part time first shift position reports to the Technician Supervisor and Laboratory Manager. Flexible hours are available. Bonus offered to full time employees quarterly. Job Responsibilities: • Develop and implement safe practices daily while performing assigned duties. • Manufacture polymer dip molded or dip coated products in a clean environment (hair net and lab coat in some instances may be required). • Inspect product as instructed and separate by defects. Record defects for analysis. • Able to work individually or as a team to aid in meeting production goals and resolve problems. • Openly share and exchange information and observations with supervisors on product to address problems and improve quality. Preferred Qualifications: • High school or GED required. • Higher education in chemistry or polymer field is a benefit. • Experience working with polymers is a benefit. • Experience in a laboratory environment is a benefit. • Highly observant and organized with initiative as well as ability to identify and respond quickly to issues. • Ability to multitask and balance multiple and changing production requirements.
