Job Summary Aptive is seeking a full-time Research and Polling Specialist to lead market research for a federal client. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting market research through focus groups, polling surveys, and other key research tools to collect relevant data, identify strategic messaging for target audiences, measure campaign effectiveness, and inform campaign planning, targets, and metrics. The Research and Polling Specialist role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in management consulting and strategic communications. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude. This is a contingent hire position. This position is remote. However, travel for client meetings and events may be required. Primary Responsibilities Collect and analyze high-quality polling and survey data that can be used to develop data-driven messaging, reports, publications, graphics, talking points, and presentations for diverse audiences. Use industry-leading research, sampling, and statistical analyses best practices to conduct fielding surveys, focus groups, and other research methods. Analyze and visualize quantitative and qualitative data, presenting findings in visually appealing reports and briefings. Mange large-scale polling projects from conception through public release. Minimum Qualifications 6 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in related field. Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Ability to manage competing deadlines. Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government. Comfortability with supporting complex client relationships. Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Desired Qualifications Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills. Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others. Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally. Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Ability to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectively. Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues. Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
