Full Description

Client Success Manager APS Medical Billing, located in Toledo, Ohio, is seeking experienced practice managers and client service representatives to join our team. Beginning service in 1960, APS has grown into one of the premier billing companies, currently billing for over 250 client locations throughout the United States. Client Service Representative Responsibilities The client representative is involved in coordinating ongoing client support and services to ensure there is no disruption of revenue. This position serves as a liaison between the Client and APS and works closely with the Practice Manager. • Provides direct client support • Monitors the timeliness of charges, payments, and insurance follow-up to ensure contractual obligation set forth by the client is met • Conducts month-end financial and operation reviews with clients • Identifies issues with the client and sets up meetings, follows up on action items, and follows through to a resolution • Communicates any upcoming changes or new procedures to the client • Works with various departments to make sure changes are in place • Monitors and reports client satisfaction with service performance and escalates issues, when needed • Performs other duties as needed Client Service Representative Requirements • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of formal training and experience • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word • Organized and detail-oriented • Excellent verbal and written communication Practice Manager Responsibilities The Practice Manager serves as the primary day-to-day interface with our clients for their billing and reimbursement activities. Primary practice specialties include but are not limited to pathology and radiology groups. This person must understand the revenue cycle management functions and be able to clearly communicate financials with the clients, as well as troubleshoot issues, resolve problems, and provide guidance for solutions. The Practice Manager also establishes relationships with new clients and manages the transition process for multiple clients throughout the US. • Manages all areas of the financial aspects of the revenue cycle for our clients • Monitors fee schedules – fee schedule analysis • Provides clients with reports that allow them to manage their practices • Conduct onsite business meetings with clients to discuss financial reporting and industry news, standards and other topics of interested related to the specialty • Works with staff to ensure revenue maximization by making certain all revenue cycle management functions are carried out expediently and correctly Practice Manager Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of formal training and experience • Strong understanding of third-party and insurance billing processes (pathology and radiology) • Strong knowledge of finance or accounting • Advanced knowledge of revenue cycle management • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills required internally and externally with all levels of management • This position requires 60% of travel (including overnight trips).
