This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial glass and glazing projects, working closely with project managers and clients to ensure successful bids. Responsibilities Review architectural drawings and bid documents to determine scope. Perform detailed quantity take-offs for glass, aluminum, and related materials. Prepare cost estimates including materials, labor, and subcontractor services. Solicit and evaluate supplier quotes and identify cost-saving opportunities. Submit professional bid proposals within deadlines and attend pre-bid meetings as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in glass & glazing estimating (commercial projects preferred). Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar) and MS Office Suite. Strong knowledge of curtainwall, storefront, windows, doors, and glazing systems.
