And they do it on a massive scale, meeting Apple’s high expectations with high performance to deliver a huge variety of entertainment in over 35 languages to more than 150 countries! On this team, we work closely with the Commerce UI Web team to drive cross functional projects across Apple's Services areas. We lead larger initiatives that make engaging with subscription and purchase/purchase management more initiative for customers. And we drive coordination across web for multiple impacted client teams for shared platform improvements. DESCRIPTION In this role you will lead core Commerce Web UI projects across Payments and Frameworks teams spanning multiple Apple Services. We are looking for someone with a solid track record of implementing large-scale, multi-functional, and cross-platform programs that drive the strategic goals of the organization. You have unshakable integrity and are as comfortable speaking to executives in open forums as you are with discussing bugs with a team member.You will partner and work directly with teams across the Engineering organization and cross-functional teams across Apple as well as multiple external partners, and will lead the end-to-end scoping, planning, execution, and launch of initiatives including: ticket management, web UI experience, experience running multiple teams, web platform experience and capacity planning. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Direct experience in and deep familiarity with the web UI and online payment method architecture ecosystems. 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in a large engineering organization accountable for the development and deployment of applications and services at scale. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Self-motivated, independent, and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly (realtime) triage, prioritize, and lead cross-functional teams under pressure. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and influence at all levels including executive leadership. Strong desire to learn, skills for problem solving, and the ability to make sophisticated trade-offs. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Proven technical aptitude, you quickly learn key technologies related to your initiatives and beyond.
