We are seeking a visionary Director, Business Systems (AI & Internal Operations) to lead our organization’s transformation into an AI-centric company. This strategic role will drive enterprise-wide AI adoption, identify and implement AI solutions across all departments, and establish measurable frameworks for productivity enhancement and cost reduction. A successful candidate will serve as both a technical leader and and change agent, ensuring our organization maximizes the capability of AI tools. Responsibilities: • Strategic Leadership & Vision • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI transformation strategy aligned with business objectives • Establish an AI governance framework, including ethics, compliance, and risk management protocols • Partner with C-Suite executives to integrate AI initiatives into overall business strategy and day-to-day operations • Define and track key performance indicators for AI adoption and impact measurement • Generate monthly and quarterly reports on AI impact, ROI, and progress towards goals • Build business cases for AI initiatives and report ROI to the executive leadership • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing AI solutions across all departments • Manage AI project portfolios, budgets, and resource allocation • AI Research & Tool Evaluation • Continuously monitor emerging AI trends, technologies, and market developments • Research, evaluate, and recommend AI tools and platforms for specific departments and use cases • Conduct proof-of-concept projects to validate AI solutions before enterprise deployment • Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate enterprise AI software agreements • Establish evaluation criteria and procurement processes for AI technologies • Focus will be on purchasing and using 3rd party AI tools • Training & Change Management • Design and deliver comprehensive AI training programs for all personnel at all levels • Create AI literacy curricula tailored to different roles and departments • Establish internal AI champion networks to support adoption and knowledge sharing • Develop change management strategies to overcome resistance and drive adoption • Create documents, best practices guides, and standard operating procedures for AI tool usage Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field • MBA or advanced degree preferred • 7+ years of experience in AI/LLM implementation, digital transformation, or business strategy roles • 3+ years of experience managing enterprise-wide technology initiatives • Proven track record of successful large-scale organizational change management • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights • Exceptional project management and program leadership skills • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value • Very effective in a remote work environment Benefits: 100% remote w/ no office mandate | Unlimited PTO | 22 official company holidays | Health care | Life insurance | Stock options | Amazing colleagues | Energetic culture that is positive and celebrates together | Inspiring mission & software product | Ability to grow your career by being early in a fast-growing tech startup
