About Job Apkudo is looking for an experienced Network Engineering Manager to lead our talented team of network engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all network infrastructure initiatives that support our cutting-edge robotic systems for smart device triage. You will guide the team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure network solutions that are the backbone of Apkudo’s operations. This position involves overseeing the network engineering team, managing network projects from conception to completion, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the network team to exceed customer expectations through enhanced network reliability, security, and efficiency. Skills & Qualification Expert knowledge of networking architectures and protocols, including Firewalls, switching, VPNs, VLANs, BGP, and SNMP. Proven experience with network hardware such as Meraki equipment, TP-Link managed switches, and Unifi systems is preferred. A strong background in network security best practices and protocols, including ISO 27001. Experience with AWS Cloudwatch is a plus. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and organizational skills. A deep commitment to customer support and satisfaction. Proficiency with Google Workspace applications. A passion for learning new technologies and improving work methodologies. A degree in Network Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, along with relevant networking certifications and a minimum of 6 years of experience in network management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Responsibilities Lead and mentor the network engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Develop and implement strategic plans for network expansion, enhancement, and technology adoption. Design and architect scalable network infrastructures to support organizational growth and reliability standards. Lead the design and evaluation of complex network solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. Oversee the end-to-end network design process, from requirements gathering to architectural approval and implementation. Oversee network performance monitoring, VLAN configuration, and managed switch configuration. Manage on-call escalations and ensure timely resolution of network-related issues to minimize downtime. Direct network maintenance, system upgrades, and the implementation of security configurations. Champion change management processes for all network configurations and updates. Manage the network equipment inventory and vendor relationships. Ensure comprehensive network documentation is created and maintained for operational use. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support remote network deployments for both domestic and international customers. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive individual and team improvement. Proactively communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders and executive leadership.
