Job Title: Regional Operations Manager Department: Operations / Customer Success Reports To: President Location: Remote; weekly travel to assigned regions and Corporate as required to support business initiatives Role Summary The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence across assigned regions by ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, strong revenue performance, healthy cash flow, and gross margin attainment. This role partners closely with Operations Leadership and corporate HR, Sales, Finance, and IT teams to deliver consistent execution, scalable growth, and continuous improvement across all sites. The Regional Operations Manager builds strong customer relationships, ensures operational readiness, supports commercial growth, and leads cross-functional initiatives that align people, process, and technology to business objectives. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Operational Excellence • Provide leadership and support for operations launches, technology upgrades, adoption, and standardization initiatives. • Lead continuous improvement efforts by ensuring all sites meet CAR identification and processing requirements. • Drive technology adoption through training, compliance, and KPI tracking for new software releases. • Create and manage business use cases as needed to support operational decisions. • Transition business activities as required to improve cash flow and operational efficiency. • Ensure strong, capable leadership is in place at each assigned region to deliver cost-effective and high-quality execution. Strategic Initiatives • Support critical company initiatives by leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic business objectives. • Develop specifications, training materials, and operational alignment plans to ensure full adoption across all manufacturing sites. • Assist in identifying future strategic initiatives to enhance people, process, and technology solutions. HR Compliance & Talent Development • Ensure assigned regions adhere to all HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. • Regularly evaluate leadership and workforce structures to ensure cost-effective staffing aligned with operational needs. • Ensure timely submissions and communication related to the annual employee review process. • Partner with HR to strengthen employee engagement, collaboration, and high-performance culture. • Promote accountability by supporting operations leadership with corrective actions, documentation, and terminations when necessary. • Identify high-potential employees and support development plans aligned with individual career paths and organizational needs. Customer Relationship Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, proactively identifying risks and addressing concerns. • Own customer retention, expansion, and satisfaction metrics within assigned regions. • Ensure accurate and timely regional KPI reporting and customer QBR presentations. Commercial Support • Support commercial growth targets by identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities at active sites. • Identify new business opportunities by engaging directly with Tier 1 manufacturing facilities in assigned regions. • Encourage operations leadership to identify Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer opportunities based on visible operational indicators. Order-to-Cash Execution • Drive operational performance to ensure order-to-invoice processes support timely payment per contract terms. • Ensure regional teams provide timely support to Finance and Commercial teams to improve invoice-to-cash performance. • Proactively manage cash flow risks through communication, PO management, and operational oversight. Technology Adoption • Facilitate adoption of technology to ensure accurate, consistent data capture that enables actionable insights and predictive analytics. • Ensure operations teams properly utilize and maintain required hardware and software to meet business objectives. Data Analysis & Financial Performance • Oversee financial performance across assigned regions to meet budgeted revenue, gross margin, and cash collection targets. • Review customer volume trends and collaborate with operations leadership and customers to support accurate forecasting. • Assist with FP&A activities by providing timely, accurate, and insightful operational data to leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, IT, Marketing, and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and aligned execution. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Customer NPS and QBR performance • Percentage of involuntary customer churn attributable to operational factors • Launch readiness and execution effectiveness • Technology adoption effectiveness, measured through data quality, reporting, and cycle times Skills & Qualifications • 10 Years of Operational Management in Manufacturing, Automotive, and/or Quality Containment • 8-10 Years Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills • Proven analytical ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making • Experience managing customer relationships in operational or manufacturing environments • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
