Role Overview: As our Event and Community Outreach Specialist, you'll boost our visibility in the community by representing us at various health fairs, street fairs, and medical conventions. You'll be the cornerstone of our community relations through your expertise and innovation, helping us foster connections and educate the public about our comprehensive services. Key Responsibilities: Event Planning & Management: Organize, attend, manage, and staff various events, especially health and street fairs, ensuring our presence is impactful and professional. Logistics & Setup: Transport and set up event booths or stations with necessary materials, ensuring a visually engaging and educational space. • Community Outreach: Forge and nurture connections with potential patients, medical professionals, and local businesses. • Appointment Coordination: Schedule and manage potential patient appointments, providing a seamless introduction to our services. • Partnership Building: Engage with other medical entities, community organizations, and local businesses, promoting collaborations and partnerships. • Brand Visibility: Drive awareness campaigns to ensure Apex's services are well-known and regarded within the community. • Research & Strategy: Continuously seek out new event opportunities and develop strategies for higher market penetration and community engagement. • Educational Initiatives: At medical events, ensure the distribution of educational materials and conduct informational sessions, showcasing our services and expertise. Requirements: • Past experience not required but an interest in pursuing a career related to event management, community outreach, or a related field. It is a plus to be knowledgeable or have a background in the medical field, particularly cardiovascular care, is a plus. • Bilingual Preferred (Spanish) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Ability to set up and dismantle event booths, including handling of equipment, displays, and promotional materials. This includes canopy, banners, foldable tables, displays, etc… Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including weekends, based on event schedules.
