Role: Project Manager – Data Analytics Location: Royal Oak MI Hybrid Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Data Analytics to lead enterprise-scale analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Data Analytics, Data Lakes, Data Pipelines, ETL processes, and modern cloud-based analytics platforms, along with proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams and delivering data-driven projects. Required Skills • 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years as a Project Manager. • Strong experience managing Data Analytics and Data Engineering projects. • Hands-on understanding of: • Data Lakes (Azure Data Lake, AWS S3, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) • Data Pipelines • ETL/ELT processes • Data Warehousing • Data Integration • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. • Familiarity with SQL and analytics/reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or similar technologies. • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management. • PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certification. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Analytics and Data Engineering projects. Coordinate with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and analytics teams. Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies. Oversee implementation of data lakes, data pipelines, and analytics solutions. Ensure project delivery aligns with business objectives and quality standards. Drive Agile ceremonies and provide regular status updates to leadership. Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring timely delivery
