Cloud Systems Administrator (Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph) Location: Remote About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph clearance to support secure, mission-critical cloud infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing cloud-based systems while ensuring high availability, security, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong expertise in cloud administration, system operations, automation, and troubleshooting within highly secure government or intelligence environments. Key Responsibilities • Administer, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure and virtual environments. • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud platforms. • Perform system patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery operations. • Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and system-related issues. • Support deployment automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives. • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams. • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and standards. • Ensure compliance with security policies and operational requirements. • Support continuous improvement initiatives for cloud operations and reliability. Required Qualifications • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience with cloud platforms such as: • AWS • Microsoft Azure • Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) • Strong understanding of: • Windows and Linux administration • Virtualization technologies • Networking fundamentals • Identity and access management • System monitoring and troubleshooting • Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. • Familiarity with cloud security and compliance best practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting government, defense, or intelligence community environments. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. • Relevant certifications such as: • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate • Security+ • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
