Job Title: Classified Systems Administrator IV Location-Remote Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Classified Systems Administrator IV to manage, secure, and maintain classified IT systems and networks. This role involves working in secure environments, ensuring compliance with strict security standards, and supporting mission-critical operations. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain classified systems, servers, and secure networks • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements • Perform system hardening, patching, and vulnerability management • Monitor system performance, logs, and security events • Manage user access controls, permissions, and identity management • Support accreditation processes and security audits • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans • Troubleshoot complex system, network, and security issues • Maintain system documentation, configurations, and procedures • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams and stakeholders • Support secure data handling, storage, and transmission Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • 7-10 years of experience in system administration (preferably in secure/classified environments) • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux system administration • Experience with secure networks, firewalls, and encryption technologies • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) • Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills • Ability to work in highly regulated and secure environments Preferred Qualifications: • Active or prior security clearance (as per organizational requirements) • Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) • Experience with SIEM tools and endpoint security solutions • Knowledge of scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash) • Experience with incident response and forensics
